Grounded, compassionate support for navigating midlife and beyond

As a woman, you may have spent much of
your life caring for others

You have held many roles, met expectations, and continued forward even when it felt difficult. Over time, you may have started to feel distant from your own needs or feelings.

This can become especially clear during times of transition. If you are a woman over forty, whether you are moving through the stages of menopause, caring for aging parents, adjusting to an empty nest, or simply reflecting on who you are at this point in life, it can feel as though the ground beneath you is shifting. Even when everything appears fine on the outside, you may feel emotionally overwhelmed, physically tense, or just not quite like yourself.

This is a space I offer not just as a therapist, but as a woman moving through these changes too. From one woman to another, I hold this work with care, respect, and a deep knowing of what it means to navigate different seasons of life.

When life shifts, old patterns resurface

Midlife can bring up survival responses you thought you had already worked through, such as heightened anxiety, emotional reactivity, shutdown, or people-pleasing. You might feel hijacked by your emotions, overthink every interaction, or find it hard to relax even when nothing is wrong.

You may not be new to self-reflection. Perhaps you have engaged in therapy or personal growth work in the past. Even with insight and effort, you may still find yourself caught in patterns that are difficult to shift. These cycles can leave you feeling stuck, depleted, or uncertain about how to move forward.

You might be noticing:

You feel emotionally raw or easily overwhelmed, especially during conflict or change
You get stuck in patterns of people-pleasing, perfectionism, or needing to stay in control
Your nervous system feels like it's always “on”—tense, anxious, or checked out
You are tired of looping through the same survival responses, but nothing seems to shift them
Your inner critic is loud, harsh, and relentless
Physical symptoms such as tension, fatigue, or brain fog often feel connected to stress but can be difficult to explain
You have lost your sense of identity or feel unsure who you are outside of your roles
If these feelings seem familiar, it is not a reflection of your worth. These are deeply conditioned responses, and with time and gentle support, such as therapy, they can slowly ease.

What to Expect from Therapy

With a Focus on Women’s Experiences

This therapy is a space devoted to the emotional experiences, transitions, and pressures many women carry throughout different stages of life. Together, we explore how roles, relationships, expectations, and life changes shape emotional wellbeing and sense of self.

Women often hold many responsibilities at once while quietly managing stress, caregiving, identity shifts, or emotional exhaustion. Therapy offers a place where you do not have to hold everything alone.

Our work is grounded in compassion, curiosity, and respect for your lived experience. While we may incorporate body awareness and nervous system understanding, the focus remains on you as a whole person within the context of your life, relationships, and changing seasons.

Therapy consists of 50-minute individual sessions where we explore what feels heavy, confusing, or emotionally demanding. This is a space to slow down, reflect, and reconnect with your own needs, voice, and inner clarity.

You will be met with presence, collaboration, and care.
